For the past 5 years, we have had the pleasure of hosting the annual Screaming Orphans event, which benefits a different charity each year. This year the proceeds will go to the Adonis Autism Assistance Foundation (AAAF), a local organization which strives to enhance the quality of life for people living with autism by providing resources, activities, information, advocacy and support to those who love someone living with autism. As funding becomes available, AAAF will also provide financial assistance grants to fund autism related expenses for children and adults meeting criteria. The Screaming Orphans are four funny, high-spirited, musically-obsessed sisters with the good fortune to have been raised in the magic of Bundoran in County Donegal, Ireland.
The band is quite popular in Fort Myers and the sisters have played here numerous times over the years. In addition, they have a big following across the US as well. This will be their 4th concert at the Sidney and Berne Davis Art Center. Last year’s event was a sellout and The Screaming Orphans put on a fantastic show.
