| Rainy season is here. Although we live in the sunshine state, every afternoon for the next few months we can expect rain. Right around 3pm every afternoon, it's making sure we have an umbrella in toe. In the backseat of the car, trunk, by the garage door, in our purse. Otherwise, it's waiting in the car until the downpour moves on and the sun shines again. That's our life as a Floridian. Yep, before the rain, after the rain. So let's add a pop of color, print, fringe, etc....... to our umbrella. It might be meant to shield us from the rain, but this girl will shield in style. |  |

The rainy season is a season for us to do alternative activities and we can make this season fun and wonderful. We can invite our brothers and cousins for us to experience new activities. We know that we can take a bath when it is raining and we can all have a good time outside. The sounds of the raindrops are calming and we can all play outside and play with water. The rainy season gives us a simple sign and that is the power to start over again and there is sunshine after the rainbow.

I love hearing the sound of the rain drifting on the tree leaves. I love the smell of the plants and trees after the rain. When the rain stops, I hear the birds chirping and when I'm lucky enough, even the rainbow greets my eye as if it's telling me that there's a brighter future ahead of me. I'm always looking forward for a little rain every now and the. Sometimes, I wish I had the spirit to play outside while it's raining.
